  • Why does my watch need an overhaul?

    An Overhaul is a regular maintenance required to keep your watch working, just as your car needs maintenance so does your watch.

  • What is done during an overhaul?

    The dial and hands are carefully removed, and the watch is meticulously disassembled, removing all parts inspecting for excessive wear. The parts are run through a series of solutions specially developed to remove oil and grease. All parts are then lubricated with the highest-grade lubricants and oils during the reassembly process. Our watchmaker also refinishes the case and bracelet then cleans ultrasonically before reassembly. The watch is then regulated in five positions on a finely tuned electronic timing machine. During reassembly, all gaskets are inspected/replaced and lubricated.

  • Will my watch work correctly after the overhaul?

    Bentley Watch Repair assures you that your watch will keep time. We are confident enough that all watches undergoing our overhaul process will have a one-year warranty.

  • How often will my watch need an overhaul?

    We recommend mechanical/automatic watches be overhauled every 6-7 years.
